Last night I had a craving for chicken parmesan. It's not a meal that I typically make, but when a craving calls I do my best to answer it, especially a food craving! I was at Aldi on Friday night and came across these parmesan encrusted chicken tenders and decided to give it a try. This is not one of those everything from scratch recipes, this is a let's eat in under an hour type of recipes, which are often the best kind!
I was not expecting it to be so yummy, but was pleasantly surprised and knew I had to share!
Chicken Parmesan with Linguine
Ingredients
What is great about this recipe is you only need a few ingredients!
Aldi Parmesan Herb Encrusted Chicken Tenders
Pasta Sauce ( I used a spicy garlic Arrabbiata Sauce)
Parmesan cheese
Mozzarella Cheese
Herbs/Oregano
Linguini
Let's Get Started!
Just follow these quick steps!
Preheat your oven to 400°F
Cover the bottom of the cooking pan with pasta sauce.
Add the chicken on top of the sauce and generously cover it with sauce as well.
Spread the Mozzarella cheese and some parmesan cheese over the sauce covered chicken
Sprinkle the top with oregano and your preferred herbs
Cover with aluminum foil and place in the oven for 30 minutes.
After the 30 minutes uncover the chicken and lower to 385°F and boil the water for your linguini
Cook linguini to al dente and drain
Place your linguini on a plate and place your chicken on top of the linguini with the sauce and that's it! Add a salad and some crusty bread and you have a meal!
This is a quick, delicious and filling dinner that you can make in a pinch! It's also a meal that you can show your kids how to make that doesn't require a lot of steps.
Hope you enjoy your chicken parm dinner as much as I did!
