There are 2 things I can't stand to wake up to...1. Not having coffee 2. Having dishes in my sink! There is no quicker way to start your day off on the wrong foot than to wake up to a pile of dirty dishes in the sink. I know that there are days after dinner that you literally want to fall in bed, and call it a day, I get it! But just think about waking up to a clean sink, and a fresh kitchen, doesn't it just make you smile?
Take care of your future self and get those dishes out of the sink!
Tip #3 - Load and Run the Dishwasher in the Evening
Make it a point to load the dishwasher after each meal. Or at the very least after dinner. I know you are tired, but set a timer for 15 minutes, rinse off the plates, put them in the dishwasher and hit the run button. You will be so happy in the morning that you took the few minutes to prep for the next day!
If you feel overwhelmed, by the number of dishes, make it a house rule that each person is responsible for putting their dishes in the dishwasher after every meal. Or make it part of the after-dinner evening routine (we will talk about routines later:)

Try running the dishwasher once a day and unload it in the morning. There's nothing like having a nice cup of coffee in a sparkling clean mug!
